כנס אילת ה - 5 להתמודדות עם אלימות בחברה הישראלית, יתקיים השנה בין התאריכים: 9-10.6.2010 (ימים ד'-ה') במלונות "דן" ו"הרודס" באילת. ראש עיריית אילת – מאיר יצחק הלוי , מיוזמי תוכנית "אילת - עיר ללא אלימות" שהפכה למודל ארצי בזכות הצלחתה ומיושמת כיום בלמעלה מ – 80 ערים בארץ: אומר כי "תופעת האלימות הפכה לנגע בחברה הישראלית והשאלה כיצד מתמודדים עם התופעה הפכה שאלה לאומית המעסיקה את כולנו. רק התמודדות משותפת של כל הגורמים, ביניהם משטרה, רווחה, חינוך ותושבים, יכולה ליצור שינוי אמיתי ומשמעותי"
