איילת נחמיאס ורבין - ממזערת את נזקי השמש

מגנים על הילדים מפני השמש הישראלית - "חוק ההצללה" (הצעה לתיקון חוק תכנון ובניה) שהובילה ח"כ איילת נחמיאס ורבין (המחנה הציוני) בשיתוף ח"כ יפעת שאשא – ביטון (כולנו) ובשיתוף העמותה הישראלית למלנומה, עבר היום בקריאה טרומית. החוק קורא להתנות בנייה של גני משחקים - בהצללה שלהם, כלומר, לא ינתנו רשיונות לבניית גני משחקים, ללא תיכנון הצללה מראש.

גני המשחקים הוותיקים של קרית טבעון יזכו בקרוב לעדנה. המועצה החליטה להשקיע בשלב הראשון, סכום בן 418,000 שקלים (200 אלף ₪ - מקרן הפיתוח ו 280 אלף ₪ - מהתקציב השוטף), בהבאת כל הגנים לרמה תקנית. חלקו הגדול של הסכום, יוקדש להחלפת המצעים. החצץ הקיים כיום בגנים, ישאב ויסולק ובמקומו – יפוזר מצע תקני של אבני "שומשום" עגלגלות, שעברו טיפול מיוחד לשחיקת הפינות החדות
